| Sky High Life | |
Scream client Sky Hotel in Aspen recently launched their Sky High Life program for summer travelers. June through September, guests can take part in a range of activities that spark the outdoorsy or calm the soul, including weekly yoga classes and guided hikes, as well as wine and dinner pairing classes. Screamers Lora and Katie went up in early June to experience it themselves and both vouch that yoga on the deck of 39 Degrees is definitely the right way to start the day (include photo). For more information on Kimpton’s Sky Hotel and current offerings, visit theskyhotel.com. |

| We Won. Woo Hoo! | |
Thanks to our casting call participants (and a little elbow grease on our end), Scream’s self-promotion campaign was selected as one of the Denver Fifty (i.e. the top 50 creative campaigns of 2010), by the Ad Club Denver. Check it out, along with all of the other great work, here. |

| The Things We Do for Clients | |
In December, Scream ventured once again to The Sky Hotel in Aspen (twist our arm) to document their annual Red Sky Xtreme party and media tasting. We rubbed elbows (and lamb lollypops) with media from all around the state. We revived our corpses with Denis Cote’s Corpse Revivers. And we danced with hundreds of partygoers straight out of that '80s movie "Better Off Dead". We know…tough job. |

| The Women’s Foundation 2010 Annual Luncheon | |
In November, Scream pushed the media needle a few notches louder for The Women’s Foundation of Colorado’s annual luncheon. This year’s event attracted nearly 1,800 attendees, and raised over $800,000 to help women and girls across the state. The event occurred right before Thanksgiving, and reminded us how thankful we are to work with cool clients with great causes. |

| He Made It!! A New Global Record. | |
On October 15, 2010, at the top of Mount Everest, Polar Explorer (& Scream client) Eric Larsen set a world record. He finished a first-ever, year-long journey to the North and South Poles and to the summit of Everest. He is the first and only person to reach all three “poles” within one year. The Scream PR Team has been burning the midnight oil with CNN, MSNBC, Leno, NPR and media outlets around the world to help tell his incredible story. Here’s a glimpse. Congrats, Eric! |

| Begin with One Step | |
Three years ago, we met a young man named Eric Larsen. He had big plans to be the first explorer to reach the North and South Pole and to summit Mt. Everest in one year. Now those plans have almost reached fruition. After helping him publicize his recent successes at the North and South Poles, we can’t tell you how excited we are to see him embark upon the final leg of his journey this month – the summit of Everest. Eric has not only been a great client to work with, he continues to be a great friend (and not too shabby of sandwich-maker at Scream). The cool thing is that you can follow Eric’s journey too, just by linking up with him on Facebook and Twitter at savethepoles.com. He's providing daily blog updates, Tweets, video posts and podcasts every step of the way. One step at a time. |

| Screaming at the Sky | |
Here at Scream, we like to get out of the office every now and then and enjoy the bounty of our beautiful state. Recently we packed up the office pooch, Greta, hopped in the car and topped the mountain passes to visit our friends/clients at the Sky Hotel in Aspen. Heck...it’s our job to help draw attention to the Sky Hotel’s swanky pool scene, sweet rooms (complete with goldfish) and mouth-watering food and drinks, so why not do a little hands-on research every now and then. Let’s just say we came down from the mountain with a greater knowledge of Champagne Supernovas. If you’re planning a mountain getaway this winter, check out the Sky Hotel, and tell 'em Scream sent you. You won’t be disappointed. |

| More Screaming Hits | |
You heard our Screamin’ Holiday Hits last winter, but now one Screamer is at it again. When he's not burning reporters’ ears with the next story, Scream’s Zack Littlefield burns drum kits for several Denver bands. This month he took a day off from PR-ing to record a new album with the r&b/jazz outfit Supercollider at Immersive Studios up in Boulder. Check them out on the Facebook. |
