In 1996, Lora Ledermann started Scream Agency, an advertising and PR/creative boutique in the historic district of downtown Denver. Since opening, Scream Agency has grown from one account and one employee to over 20 accounts and several employees.
Ledermann, chief creative director for the Scream Agency, has brought home several awards for Scream Agency's creative, PR and strategy work including DAF Addy™ Awards, Summit Awards and Halo Awards for Excellence in Public Service Marketing Communications. Additionally, Scream Agency has been recognized on the pages of national publications including AdWeek, DM News, Ad News and Public Relations Tactics.
In 2000, Ledermann created the Scream Scram, a 5K run/walk event held in Washington Park to raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMSS). This event, held on Halloween weekend, has attracted thousands of runners/walkers and raised over $35,000 for the NMSS. In addition to this non-profit endeavor, Ledermann, fluent in Spanish has worked on several non-profit projects, including developing a health agency guide for Quito, Ecuador, and volunteering with a Hispanic mentoring program. She has also volunteered for several local parks and recreation projects. |
