In honor of National Pizza Month (I know, we thought we loved October before) – Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers just launched a FREE PIZZA FOR A YEAR contest. I know. We almost passed out from excitement, too.
In true Mellow spirit, the pizza bakers will be serving up one free small one-topping pizza to each of the winners every week for 52 consecutive weeks, a staggering number of pizzas and not for the faint of heart. There will be three winners of the contest–one chosen from the followers of each of the Colorado Facebook pages. The 52 free pizzas can be ordered weekly for dine-in or take-out, gratuity not included. Although each of the three winners will be chosen from different Facebook pages, the pizza for a year badges will be valid at any of the three Colorado locations.
To join in on the celebration, we only felt it was only appropriate to share our very own pizza creations from our recent RFP (request for pizza):
The Major Mikkola: Chicken, ricotta, black olives, red sauce and basil.
The Prince George: Olive oil base, cheese, arugula, lemon – topped with fresh parmesan.
The Loraborealis: The ultimate from our Creative Director – create your own pie with meat, sauce, cheese and toppings!
The Knocheroni: Four cheese, green peppers and just two pepperonis.
The Wam Bam Thank You Frahm: An everything calzone, make that two.
The Chicken Gordon Blu: Ground beef, topped with Milkbones
To enter and keep up with the content, pizza lovers can follow and like at least one of the Facebook pages for the Colorado locations (Downtown Denver, Streets at SouthGlenn and Park Meadows). The lucky winners will be announced Monday, November 2nd.
Now, excuse us while we go down a few blocks to our local Mellow Mushroom on 16th Street for a quick pizza fix!
