We are thrilled to have Kat Libby joining our team this summer. Kat is a Denver native currently pursuing multiple degrees at Creighton University. We asked Kat to answer a few questions so we can all get to know her a little better.
What are you hoping to gain from your internship experience at Scream Agency?
As a computer science, journalism, and graphic design major I’m excited to work with clients that are local businesses in the city I grew up in. Getting to see how the PR team and graphic designer interact with each client is going to be an insight I’ve never really had before. I can’t wait to learn as much as I can before I head into my junior year of college!
What is your favorite thing to do outdoors?
Snowboard! I grew up skiing, but once I switched over to snowboarding I never went back.
What is your favorite food?
Torchy’s Tacos!
What is your Myers Briggs personality type?
INTJ — This means that I’m driven by my own original and creative ideas to achieve improvements. I like thinking outside the box and being imaginative, but also value turning ideas into concrete realities.
What’s the biggest decision you’ve had to make in the past year? Why was it so
big?
I just got back from a study abroad semester in Australia about a week ago. It was the longest I’ve ever gone without being home and seeing my family but it was an amazing learning experience for myself and I’m so thankful for the opportunity to do something like that.
What are three things we don’t know about you.
- I’m a lifeguard and swim lesson teacher over the summer when I’m not working at Scream Agency.
- I have two Dalmatians that love to run around Cheesman Park with me.
- I’m on the rowing team at my college, Creighton University, which happens to be D1.
